1. The Trade Mark Registration process start with Trade Mark(Brand Name) Search.The government trademark search tool can also be used to find identical or similar trademarks under the same class.
2. Once the search is complete, you will proceed with the trademark application based on the details of identical
3. Applicant has to approach Trade Mark Registrar office for the Registration.
4. Application form can be obtained from the concerned office
5. Please make sure you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Once Application form filed with Required document,a trademark application allotment number is provided within one or two working days.
7. The officer will either accept the application and allow for journal publication or object the same after the verification.
8. If the officer is satisfied, the trademark would be allowed for trademark journal publication.
9. Once it is published, the public have an opportunity to object to a particular registration, If there are no objections filed within 90 days of that publication, the Trade Mark Certificate will be Prepared.

3. Once logged in please proceed as per prompts and direction to complete the application procedure.

5. Once the payment is accepted, You will get a transaction acknowledgement. Please keep it saved or print it for future reference.

The trademark application can be filed by any person or law firm in India.

• Rs 3500/- per mark per class
• Lawyer will charge Rs 1000/- to Rs 3000/- per mark per class
• Rs 500/- for trademark search

• The period for registration of a trademark is valid for 10 years, but may be renewed subject to payment of a prescribed fee under the provisions of the Trademark Act, 1999.
