While hiring a person for domestic help in Andaman and Nicobar, one has to register the employee’s details with the Police for Domestic Help Verification.
Apply In-Person
- To apply for a Domestic help Verification In-Person, get the Domestic Help Verification form from the nearest police station in Andaman and Nicobar.
- Visit the following link for the locations and contacts details of the nearest police station: South Andaman Islands,North Middle Andaman Islands, Nicobar Islands
- In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee (Servant).
- Provide the complete description of the employee in the section provided for the same.
- Mention the employee’s friend’s or relative’s information.
- Provide the voluntary fingerprints of the employee if necessary.
- Fill in the required details of the employer.
- Attach a copy of the required documents such as Id Proofs and Passport size photographs.
- Duly sign and submit the form at the nearest Police Station.
- The Police would run a background verification and would inform the employer if the person hired is of dubious character.
