Apply In-Person:
- To apply for an export permit or license for Bones and Bone Meal in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Ministry of Agriculture office of Zambia, for the main office visit link.
- Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant upon visiting the Qualifications Authority office.
- The application for the issue of a permit will be made in writing and shall be addressed to the Permit Officer, Ministry of Agriculture
- Once understanding the guideline properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
- Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
- Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After the completion and verification of all the documents, the permit will be accessible.
- Collect the required permit in a stipulated period of time.

- An individual is required to get an export permit for bone and bone meal in Zambia.
- The applicant must be of legal age.
- The goods should be for personal use and consumption and not for resale.
- The value should not exceed K50.

- Application Fee: Pay as per the authority’s request.
- Permit fee: ZK 340.

- The applicant will not be authorised to export any further goods within a period of ninety days.
- Any person who acts in contravention of or fails to comply with any order made of the regulations, will be guilty of an offence and will be liable on conviction to:
- A fine up to fifteen thousand penalty units or to imprisonment up to four months, or
- Both sixty thousand penalty units for a first offence and on conviction for a second or subsequent offence, to a fine up to sixty thousand penalty units or to imprisonment for a period up to six months, or to both.
