Need for the DocumentEdit

  • An individual's reportable court verdicts and pending charges (i.e., when they have been charged with an offence but have not yet been in court) are listed on a National Police Certificate (NPC), which is a document compiled from the databases of all Australian police services.
  • This is sometimes referred to as a person's criminal past.

  • The certificate will indicate if you have no criminal court judgments, WA traffic court judgments, or ongoing charges.
