*The specific content and details of the bases may vary depending on the regulatory authority responsible for tariff regulation, which could be the Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE) or the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) in Mexico.
*Monthly pension – disbursed to a retiree on a regular basis for a lifetime (until the retiree's death).
*Lump sum amount – one-time payment granted to a retiree. The amount is equal to the total contributions paid by the member and/or by his/her ERs, including interest earned.
