- To Obtain Support for Capacity Development, the applicant has to approach the National Council for Educational link
- Investigate if the Mexican government has any ongoing initiatives or programs related to capacity development. Consult official government websites, particularly those of relevant ministries or agencies such as the Secretariat of Public Education (SEP), the Secretariat of Economy, or the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT).
- These institutions often offer funding, grants, or technical assistance to support capacity-building efforts.
- Seek support from international organizations that have programs focused on capacity development in Mexico. Organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) often provide assistance in enhancing capacity in various sectors.
- Many countries have bilateral aid agencies that provide development assistance to other nations. Research if your country has a bilateral aid agency or if any other countries offer capacity development support to Mexico. Contact the relevant agencies and explore potential partnerships or funding opportunities.
- Universities and research institutions can be valuable partners in capacity development efforts. Engage with Mexican universities, research centres, or think tanks that specialize in the sectors you are targeting.
- They may have expertise, resources, or existing programs that align with your goals. Collaborative research projects, training programs, or knowledge-sharing initiatives could be explored.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- There is no fee for Support for Capacity Development.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number or through email.
- Attend conferences, seminars, or workshops related to capacity development, both within Mexico and internationally. Build relationships with professionals, experts, and organizations working in the field. Establish partnerships with local NGOs, community-based organizations, or private sector entities that have a shared interest in capacity building.
- Keep an eye on grant opportunities, both from national and international sources. Many organizations provide competitive grants for capacity development projects.
- Subscribe to relevant newsletters, follow social media accounts, and regularly check websites dedicated to sharing funding opportunities for development projects.
- Once you have identified potential sources of support, develop a detailed project proposal outlining your capacity development needs, goals, activities, and expected outcomes. Be sure to align your proposal with the priorities and requirements of the funding organization or agency.
- This entire process can be completed within 20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
