Apply In-Person:

  1. The applicant has to submit an application addressed to the Licensing Authority of the concerned municipal corporation/municipality where the business is proposed.
  2. Link for contact details : link please select the respective district name hyperlink provided on the page under district administration to reach the respective web pages. There, one has to select the “DIRECTORY” menu option and click on “PUBLIC UTILITIES” to select the sub-option “Municipalities” for contact details.
  3. Go to the respective office.
  4. Meet the respective authority at the licensing department of the Municipal Corporation / Municipality office. #The applicant shall get advice from the authority to be followed to apply for the respective trade.
  5. Collect the applicable application form or write on plain A4 paper as per advice.
  6. Also, download the application form from the following link – link
  7. Submit the completed application form along with the required document as per our page.
  8. Authorities will check the submitted application and announce the fees/charges. Please pay and get the receipt.
  9. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
  10. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
  11. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are complied with by the applicant, authorities will issue an order to make applicable payment.
  12. The applicant shall make the payment as advised.
  13. After all the above steps, the applicant gets a notification from the department. Please follow the notification to get the license.
  14. If the Trade license committee observes that all norms are not complied with by the applicant, the application by rejected.


Note:

  1. It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department..
  2. Visit your nearest or a running trade in your region and consult with them for any latest update requirements.



Apply Online:

  1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to make the application online via – link
  2. Below the trade license, the applicant has to click the “New Application” button.
  3. Select the language and click the “Continue” button.
  4. If the applicant is a new user, click the “Register” button.
  5. Enter all the details and click “Continue”.
  6. The applicant will get the OTP on the registered mobile number.
  7. Enter the OTP and create a password and click the “Submit” button.
  8. Now, the applicant has to log in and enter the mobile number and click the “Continue” button.
  9. Enter the password and click the “Continue” button.
  10. The applicant has to enter all the details for a trading license.
  11. Also, the applicant has to upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page. Click the “Submit” button.
  12. After completing successfully, the applicant will get the message through the registered mobile number.
  13. Pay the fee online mode and click the “Submit” button.
  14. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set.If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  15. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  16. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
  17. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
  18. Once the process gets completed, the applicant has to visit the office and pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  19. Upon successful completion, the applicant can get the license from the office.
  20. This entire process can be completed within 7 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.



Apply through CSC

  1. To Apply for Trade License, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC center – link
    • NOTE: The applicant has to select a state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centers.
  2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  3. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
  5. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  8. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  9. This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
  10. After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
  11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  13. The applicant will get a license by visiting the center.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 3 – 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
