Procedure

Obtain a duplicate license

1. To obtain a duplicate license, go to any license office. If your license will expire within the next 6 months, you can renew your drivers license instead.
2. You will need to bring in your current driver license and provide proof of birth, full social security number, and two proofs of the new Utah residence.
3. Pay the duplicate license fee $18.00 or renewal fee of $25.00.

Change Your Address Online

You are not required to obtain a new driver's license with your current residence, you can simply change your address online within 10 days of moving.

If you have moved to a new residence and would like your Utah driver license to reflect your new address, you can obtain a duplicate license by going to a drivers license office.
