Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Applicant has to get the letter head for the firm and should get required document as per our page.
2. Applicant should go to the respective registering authority for their area agriculture department. Applicant shall contact MRO office to get the contact details.
3. Link for contact details : Link2 please select the name of the district provided on the right part of the page to reach respective district portal and select menu “DEPARTMENTS > AGRICULTURE “ for contact details.
4. Please collect the appropriate application form as per officer’s advice or write on a A4 sheet.

6. Submit the completed application with required documents as mentioned in our required documents session.
7. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted as per the mode (treasury challan or as acceptable).
8. Applicant after remitting the mentioned amount, should provide the same to the department authority for processing.
9. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
10. This application will be processed by the respective department.
11. Applicant will get intimation for inspection of premises.
12. Authorities will inspect the business place and do their due diligence for the machine / other apparatus as mentioned in application by applicant.
13. Once all the process yields satisfactory result, Applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
14. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.
    
    

Apply through Online - Telangana Apply or Obtain Seed Sale Licence or Permit Online with Images

1. The Telangana government has made online facility to apply for the seed license. Please use the below link to visit the online portal to apply : Online portal link
2. Once you reach this portal, please click on “Application Forms” tab to get the next page and select “License” under Seeds option.
3. Upon selection, next page with different set of options will be displayed. Please select “Signin” to get online license management system login page.
4. Please enter your credentials as appropriate and click “Log in” button.
5. If you are a new user please use the “New Registration” option to register and then login.
6. Once login, user will reach Application for seed license page.
7. Applicant shall process the prompted details for Applicant, Office address, Authorised person, Location, Various seeds details, fees challan details and Attach documents.
8. Please preview your application if all are ok, please click “Submit” button.
9. A system generated acknowledgement will be displayed. Please save it for future reference.
10. This application will be processed by the respective department. Applicant gets notification on their mobile.
11. Please follow the notification and department guidelines to acquire license.

Eligibility

• Any person desiring to sell, stock or exhibit or distribute any seed is eligible to make an application to the licensing officer for the grant of a license.
• Advised balance on applicants account.

Validity

A license granted, shall be valid for the period specified therein, May be renewed from time to time for such period and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
