Procedure

• The “Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TSTET)” is conducted by the Department of School Education to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
• There will be an official notification release by the respective board for TSTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the TSTET.

Apply Online

1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
2. In the given home page, please click on the “Online Payment” hyperlink under “Service” section to get an “Online Payment Form” page.
3. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Please provide a valid mobile number. Choose payment gateway methoud as applicable. Please enter the amount, captcha as appropriate. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Submit” button to reach the online payment gateway page.
4. Please process the page requirements to make the online payment. Once the payment is made, the user will be taken to the “Online Payment Form” page. Here, the “Transaction successfully completed” message will be provided. Please save the details provided against “Journal No” for future requirement. Please scroll down and hit the “Print it” button to take a printout of the receipt for future reference.
5. In the same page, please click on the “Click here” button provided before the “to submit the Application” message or please visit the home page and click on the “Online Application” hyperlink under “Service” section to get an “ONLINE APPLICATION FORM” page.
6. Here, please click the checkbox for “No” for the “Are you Appearing For…” prompts. Please enter the saved journal number at the prompted space next to “Journal Number”, Date of payment made and Date of birth at the prompted space as appropriate.
7. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration “I Declare…”. Enter the captcha at the prompted space as appropriate. Once the details as stated above are entered, then click on the “Verify & Next” button to reach the “Applicant Details” section.
8. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Upload the passport size photograph of the applicant as applicable and click on the checkbox for the “This Photo belongs to me” message. Please click on the “Save & Next” button to reach the “Paper and Qualification Details” section.
9. Please complete the section prompts as appropriate. Once the details are filled in, please click on the “Save & Next” button to reach the “XClass and Previous TET Details” section.
10. Please select the checkbox as appropriate for “Class X Board”. Enter the hall-ticket number as applicable. Please select “Yes” or “No” for “Have you Appeared for any of the previous TET Exam” prompt and process the prompted details as per the applicant’s selection and click on the “Save & Next” button to reach the “Preview” section.
11. Under preview section, the applicant shall go through the details provided to apply online. If the preview details are correct, then click on the checkbox for the declaration and then hit the “Submit” button to get a “Application Submission” pop-up. Please click on the “Final Submit” button.
12. A confirmation message “YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN PROVISIONALLY ACEPTED” will be provided with candidate ID. Please save it for future reference. Please hit the “Download Application” button to get the application downloaded in .pdf format. Please save it for future use.
13. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

Eligibility

• The candidate should be the citizen of India.
• The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
• For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
• Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
• Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.

Fees

• The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a single paper (i.e. only paper i or only paper ii), or, for both papers (i.e. paper i and paper ii) is rs.300/- (rupees three hundred only).

Validity

• The approved application is valid for the period (year) for which the examination is notified.
