Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for exporting of Fertilizer in Tanzania is available in Tanzania Ports Authority contact link
2. Applicant must procure the application form for this service from the Tanzania Ports Authority.
3. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
4. Applicant should carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form and submit it to the relevant authority.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the export will be done within 20 days.
8. For obtaining a manufacturing license, the applicant has to visit the Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority contact link

• This document is necessary for exporting fertilizer from Tanzania to other foreign countries.

• All goods whose exportation are regulated under the East African Customs Management Act or of any law for the time being in force in Tanzania require a permit from relevant authorities.
