Jharkhand - Obtain License (Register) for Leaf Plate Manufacturing

The leaf plate manufacturing business requires proper statutory approvals from the concerned departments. By following our procedure, a leaf plate manufacturing unit shall obtain proper approvals and documents.

Apply In-Person:

  1. The applicant shall approach the respective office of the “National Cooperative Development Corporation – NCDC” to get the required information and details to start a leaf plate manufacturing business. The “National Cooperative Development Corporation” is an organization aimed at assisting the entrepreneurs (the NCDC is not a licencing entity).

  4. The applicant shall fix the place of business (to start the manufacturing unit). Once the place is finalized, the applicant has to follow the below steps to obtain a licence to start a leaf plate manufacturing business.
  5. Please visit your local authority/body to clarify with them about any updates on government norms for restrictions or regulations for starting a leaf plate manufacturing unit in that area.

  7. An individual (proprietorship) or a partnership firm or a registered private company shall start a leaf plate manufacturing unit.
  8. Please select a name for the company/firm.
  9. Please follow our “India - Register a Firm” procedure to get your company registered. procedure link in the given procedure, please find the appropriate provisions to register the company as per the class/type.
  10. Once the firm is registered, the applicant will get memorandum of association and director identification number. If required, please apply for the trademark registration too.
  11. Once the company is registered, please apply and obtain “GST Identification Number”.
  12. Please follow our “India - Register for Goods and Service Tax Identification Number (GSTIN)” procedure to get your “Goods and Service Tax Identification Number (GSTIN)”. procedure link
  13. The next step is to get “Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card”. Please follow our “India - How to Obtain a Permanent Account Number(PAN) Card” procedure to get your (company) “PAN”. procedure link
  14. Now it’s time to open a bank account for your business. Please open a bank account by visiting the respective bank of your choice and follow their guidelines.
  15. If required, the applicant should get trade licence from local administration. Please follow our “India - Apply for Trade License” procedure to get the trade licence. procedure link
  16. Now, the applicant shall apply for statutory requirements to start the operation.
  17. Please apply with the local authority/body, electricity board and water board for statutory approval.
  18. On obtaining the approvals, please install the required machine and create the infrastructure to manufacture the leaf plates.
  19. Employ the staff and start the leaf plate manufacturing.


Note:
  • It is advised to visit the nearby unit and get the first-hand experience on the day-to-day activities and the work flow before start investing.
  • Whenever a demand draft is provided for the sake of fees or for the purchase of machinery, please make sure that the name and address of the applicant is mentioned on the reverse of the demand draft.

  • Those who are 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
  • A registered private limited company or a partnership company or a proprietorship company is eligible to apply for this procedure.

  • The failure to comply with prerequisites of the trade licence can also result in the closure of a business.
  • There will be sudden check by the civic agencies and fire and safety authorities.

  • Incomplete application will be rejected.
