1. To renew a Television license in person, the applicant must visit any nearest South African Broadcasting Corporation Office or a nearest post Office that renews a TV license or a nearest SABC pay point in his/her province.

3. Contact the SABC and collect details about the office of any SABC office or post office that renews a TV license or a nearest SABC pay point where you can renew your TV license and also enquire the requirements.
4. Visit the office or pay point as instructed by the SABC and enquire where to pay the fees for renewing the TV license.
5. After paying the required fees as directed, the television license which you seek renewal for, will be renewed.

2. In the webpage, enter your ID number or TV License Account number and click “Submit” button.
3. You will be redirected into the website where you can pay your renewal fees. Search for applicable option by which you can pay.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions and proceed to pay for the renewal of your Television License.
5. Enter your credit card details in respective fields of the payment gateway and proceed to pay by entering the prompted fees amount in the respective field and click the pay option.
6. You will have to verify that the transaction has been initiated by you with the help of an OTP which will be sent to your registered mobile number.

2. If you are an user already, enter Cell Number and PIN in respective fields and click “Login” button.
3. Else click “Register with EasyPay” button and proceed to register. Click “Proceed” button. In the registration page, enter the required details in the respective fields and click “continue” button.
4. Confirm with the help of an OTP which will be sent to your registered mobile number and enter into the field provided.
5. Then you will be registered in Easypay portal and you can now login with the help of your mobile number and 5-digit PIN which you provide in registration page.
6. Login and proceed to pay for the renewal of Television license by choosing applicable option. You will have to provide your TV license number wherever necessary.
7. Complete the payment by doing applicable actions and once paid successfully, your TV license will be renewed.

Apply through banking website

1. To renew a Television license through any banking website, you should login into your banking website.
2. After logging in, proceed to pay for the renewal of Television license by choosing applicable option. You will have to provide your TV license number wherever necessary.
3. Choose the applicable transaction option and proceed to pay the estimated amount by entering your transaction password.
4. You will have to verify that the transaction has been initiated by you with the help of an OTP which will be sent to your registered mobile number.
5. Once completed the transaction, your TV license will be renewed appropriately.

• Forgetting to renew your TV licence means a penalty of 10% per month to a maximum of 100% per annum. So, paying by annual debit order is the most convenient way to ensure that this never happens.

• For renewals, the SABC will debit your account according to your payment preference, monthly or annual instalments.
