Apply Online - Apply for Tax Directive Fixed Amount Online with Images
- To apply for Tax Directive Fixed Amount online, visit the official website of the South African Revenue Service by clicking the following link: Link
- If you are already registered as a taxpayer and have the user credentials, click “Login” button and enter the username, click “Next” button and enter Password, click “Next” button.
- Otherwise, in the page that appears click “Register” button on the top of the page. In registration page, enter the personal details and click “Next” button. In next page, enter contact and login details and click “Next” button.
- Since you a new applicant, you have to provide your personal information in next page. Fill the mandatory fields and click “Submit” button. The “Registration Request Received” message will appear and your case number will be displayed which you should use to follow up on your registration case.
- Click “continue” button to proceed to upload documents or “save for later” button to continue this process later. If you click “continue” button, you will be redirected to a page where you can upload the required documents by clicking “Upload” button, after uploading click “Submit” button.
- Confirm submission dialogue will appear. Click “Continue” button if you are sure or “cancel” button if you want to recheck. After this, you will be redirected to the beginning page. You can click “Query status” button to check the status of application.
- The application is in progress and you will be prompted to upload more required documents in your work page. Upload the relevant and required documents as instructed and click “Submit” button and complete the registration process as prompted.
- Once your documents have been validated the “Complete Registration” button will be displayed on your Registration Work page. Click on “Complete Registration” button. You will be prompted to select your preferred method of communication for eFiling security purposes.
- Select either ‘Cell number’ option or ‘Email’ option and click “Continue” button.The One Time Pin (OTP) page will be displayed which requests you to complete the last 6 digits of your OTP sent through to your preferred method of communication.
- Complete the OTP and click on “Submit” button. If the OTP completed is correct, a message will be displayed indicating you are now registered for eFiling. Upon completion of your registration, you are now required to login to the SARS eFiling website by making use of your Username and Password.
- On the eFiling Dashboard, you have to select the Portfolio as either “Individual” or “Tax practitioner” by enabling the Portfolio drop-down menu. Now, locate the Tax Directive functionality in the portal and activate it by following the on-screen instructions to access the functions.
- After activating, you have to click the “Services” option from the top and click on the “Tax Directive” option and then select “Request” option which will be present on the left. A screen will be displayed with all the required forms relevant to the portfolio selected.
- Select the “IRP3C Application for a Tax Directive:Fixed amount” application form among the available forms and select the relevant taxpayer (as applicable) you want to complete the application for.
- The application form will be displayed for completion with the pre-populated information of the selected taxpayer. After completing all the required information on the Tax Directive application form, select the “Save”button at the bottom of the screen.
- A message indicating that the request has been successfully saved will be displayed and then you have to select the “Submit to SARS” button at the bottom of the screen. If there exists any requirement of supporting documents, relevant dialogue box will be displayed in which you have to select “Upload” button.
- The Document Upload page will be displayed in order to upload the required supporting documents for the application. Select the “Click here to Browse” option, select the file(s) to be uploaded and click the “Open” button to upload.
- Once all the documents are uploaded successfully, your application process has been completed as required and the application and attached documents (if any) will be set to proceed for further verification and validation processes by respective authorities.
- Once the tax directive application for the IRP3(c) application is approved by SARS, the tax directive will be available on eFiling.
