Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Every holder of valid seed license shall apply for renewal before the date of expiry of the license.
2. Applicant should go to their respective office of the district agricultural office (DAO) for your area.
3. Link for contact details: linkplease select the designation “Agriculture Development office” and other prompts as appropriate to get contact details.
4. Please collect the appropriate application form as per officer’s advice or write on a A4 sheet.
5. Link to download form online: link scroll down to page 9 for Form “C”.
6. Submit the completed application with required documents as mentioned in our required documents session.
7. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted.
8. Applicant shall pay the mentioned amount as applicable.
9. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
10. This application will be processed by the authority.
11. If there are any inspection of premises is required, authorities will do due diligence.
12. Once the license is prepared with sign and seal of the respective authority, applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
13. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.
    
    

Note:

• The license needs to be renewed before the expiry of the license.
• If renewal is not made before the expiry of the license but is made within one month from the date of expiry of the license, the license may be renewed on payment of additional fee.

Validity

A license renewed, shall be valid for the period specified therein, May be renewed from time to time for such period and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
