Apply In-Person:

  1. To correct or update Aadhaar card information, the applicant has to visit the nearest enrolment centre.
  2. The applicant has to book an appointment online. The online link and the guidelines for appointment are given in “Apply Online” section of this page.
  3. The applicant can download the Aadhar enrolment/ correction/ update form via this Link
  4. Applicant has to fill up the form with the requested details and attest it with the signature / thumb impression.
  5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Submit the application form and the necessary documents to the officer in charge.
  7. The officer in charge will process the details as per the document provided.
  8. The applicant will have to go through biometric scanning for finger print followed by Iris scanning and then Photograph session and signature.
  9. After the successful completion of above steps acknowledgement receipt for reference will be issued to the applicant.
  10. The applicant can also check the status of the application via the following Link with the help of 14-digit Enrolment ID (EID), Date and Time mentioned in the receipt.
  11. Enter the captcha for verification and click on “Check Status” option to know the status.


Apply Online - For Book an Appointment

  1. To update an Aadhaar, the applicant is required to book an appointment for enrolment centre by following link
  2. After opening the above-mentioned link, the applicant needs to select their respective city/location.
  3. After selecting the location click on the “Proceed to Book Appointment” button.
  4. The page is redirected, provide your mobile number and enter the “Captcha”.
  5. Once the details are entered, click “Generate OTP” button.
  6. Now enter the “OTP Number” and click “Verify OTP” button.
  7. After OTP verification enter your Aadhar card number, personal details and fix your time in the time slot for appointment and review your appointment details.
  8. The applicant needs to Pay rupees 50 INR online for appointment.
  9. It is mandatory to bring the copy of the appointment order during the appointment.

  • Documents that serve as proof of Address (Passport/ Bank Statement/ Ration card/ Voter ID/ Driving License/ Electricity bill)
  • Documents that serve as proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate /Mark sheet issued by any Government Board or University/ PAN card etc)

The applicants are advised to carry their original documents with them.
