Apply In-Person

  1. To renew a driver’s license, the applicant will need to visit the nearest Motor License Issuer, and find the nearest Motor license issuer here Link
  2. Carry all relevant documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. Fill in the application form, enter all the relevant details.
  4. The applicant will have their photo taken.
  5. The applicant will have to pay fees this can be done in installment or the full amount can be paid.
  6. The applicant shall receive their new driver’s license by registered post within a few weeks from the submission of the application.

EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must have a full licence (G, M class) that isn’t cancelled or suspended.
  • The applicant hasn’t updated his/her address within the last 90 days.
  • The applicant doesn’t need tests.
  • The applicant has no new medical conditions that may prevent him/her from driving.
  • The applicant should not have any outstanding fines or penalties.
  • The applicant is a resident of Saskatchwan



FeesEdit

  • The applicant will need to pay a fee of 100$.



ValidityEdit

A driver’s license is valid for a period of 5 years after which it needs to be renewed.
