Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To register or update your national address, applicant has to visit the National Address Service Department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the national address service department in the Ministry of Interior(MOI) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, your national address will be registered or updated.

Instructions

• In the “Metrash2” mobile Application, one who has Qatar ID can easily login and enter into the application to make use of the services provided.
• All companies and institution must register or update the National address at the Ministry of Interior (MOI).
• Applicant’s details such as residential address, land phone number, mobile number, employee’s address for private and public sector servants, permanent abroad address and any information that the authority specifies shall be required to be filled in the application form.
• The caretaker or guardian will be answerable about the registered data of minor children and its authenticity as mentioned by the MOI previously.

• As per the statement of law, the national address contains the data that the assignee takes. All the proceedings with government and non-government entities are made upon the national address.
• If any violation against the mentioned terms in the application form, the ministry of interior have rights to take legal action.
