Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for Non-Qatari investment license, applicant has to visit the commercial registration and licenses department at the MOCI office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the commercial registration and licenses department in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the non-Qatari investment license on a specified date.

Required Documents

For Individuals:

• Preliminary licenses to be obtained from competent authorities to perform the activity.
• Action plan pertaining to the project in the Non-Qatari investment license application.
• Copy of Qatari ID card (for residents).
• Copy of passport card (for non-residents).
• Good conduct certificate attested by the concerned authorities in the home country.
• C.V indicating the work experience and an education certificate, approved by the competent authorities.
• Copy of professional license (optional).

For Companies:

• Preliminary licenses necessary to perform the activity by competent authorities.
• Model of the project work plan.
• Copy of the memorandum of association and the articles of association attested and translated into Arabic.
• Copy of commercial registration of headquarters attested by competent authorities and translated into Arabic.
• Copy of commercial registration of branches attested by the competent authorities and translated into Arabic (optional).

Eligibility

For Individuals

• Residents who have Qatar ID card and non-residents who have passport are eligible to apply.
• Individuals who have good conduct certificate attested by the concerned authorities in the home country are eligible to apply.
  

For Companies

• Companies who have commercial registration of headquarters attested by competent authorities are eligible to apply.

Fees

No fees are required for this service.
