Punjab - Online Apply for Manufacture License under Weights and Measure

- Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
- Step 3 : In the given page please click “Login” menu highlighted in RED to reach login page.
- Step 4 : Please enter the user name, password. Captcha as appropriate and click “Login” button highlighted in RED to login.
- Step 5 : If you are a new user then use the “Signup” option highlighted in RED and follow the registration page prompts to complete the registration process and then login.
- Step 6 : Once login, applicant will reach dashboard. Click on ‘Add New Project with CAF’ button to open the window to upload the MoU Document.
- Step 7 : Enter & Save the details asked in the following tabs (1) Application Details (2) Business Entity Details (3) Project Details (4) Investment Details (5) Proposed Employment Details (6) Others to complete CAF Process & generate iPIN. Click “Save & Next” tab at the end of each section which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 8 : Please save the iPAN and click ‘OK’ button to open another page where you will enter the other required data and click on ‘Show My Approvals’ button.
- Step 9 : Click on ‘Regulatory Clearance’ link from the left side menu to open a new window.
- Step 10 : Click on ‘Apply New’ window and then on ‘Details’ button. Click on ‘Apply For New Clearance’ button to open new window consisting of different department list.
- Step 11 : Search For ‘Metrology’ Department and select the type of service you need to apply and click on ‘New’ button to open the department page.
- Step 12 : Click on ‘Fill Application’ Link and please fill in all the relevant details as per page prompts. Upload required documents as per the prompt.
- Step 13 : Pay necessary fee and submit the application. A system generated application id will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Step 14 : An SMS alert will be sent to the applicant regarding application submission. Application will be forwarded online to the concerned Assistant Controller.
- Step 15 : After scrutiny by the Assistant Controller, short fall in the documentation if any will be intimated through SMS along with the date of inspection.
- Step 16 : The premises will be inspected by the concerned Legal Metrology Officer and documents in original will be verified and security deposit if applicable would be collected.
- Step 17 : The Application along with report will be forwarded to the issuing authority concerned. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS. If approved, certificate will be delivered as per applicable norms.
