To apply for Cracker and Explosive License, the applicant has to visit the following link:Link
On a given window, a new form will open up.
Now follow the onscreen instructions and fill up the form correctly.
Provide "license type", name and check the box for "Purpose of license".
Provide all the important details such as personal details, qualification and other details.
On completing the application, click the declaration box as "I agree".
Now submit.
On successful application, the applicant will be notified.

Apply in person

To Apply for Cracker and Explosive License, the applicant has to visit the office of the District Commissioner or District Magistrate. Find contacts:Link
The applicant will have to fill up an application form.
Print out the application form:Link
Fill up the application form with all the valid information.
Now submit it along with a passport size photograph to the concerned office.
Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents".
Now submit it to the concerned office and collect an acknowledgement slip.
Pay the requisite fee
On successful completion, the license will be issued.
The applicant will be notified upon which they shall visit the concerned office and collect the license.

Verification report from police
No objection from fire service department
Report/N.O.C from local administration authority &police station need to be obtained.
No objection from local body
Particulars of previous license if any
Description of place, where the storage is intended to be carried out.
No objection certificate of the tenant, if the business is intended to be carried out on the land *of tenant other than the applicant.
Recent copy of Form-F of the land housing the Storage Facility.
Aadhaar Card
Passport size photos
Shop and Establishment License as per requirement.
Character verification report from concerned as per requirement.

Note:

Applicant shall use the local address obtained as per the link above for the state to apply.
The address (PESO) provided here will be useful to clarify all the doubts as they are the controllers of explosives designated for this state.

EligibilityEdit

Applicants must be above 18 years old.
Not sentenced or convicted of any offence involving violence or moral turpitude for a term of not less than six months, at any time during a period of five years after the expiration of the sentence.
Applicant should not have any connection or executions in code of Criminal Procedure.
Applicant license under the Explosives Act has not been cancelled, whether before or after the commencement of the Indian Explosives (Amendment) Act, at any time during a period of five years from the date of cancellation of such license.

ValidityEdit

Validity of the Cracker License on Temporary basis will be Maximum of 15 days and on Permanent basis for 1 Year (Financial Year)
Renewed every year (Optional)

NOTE : When applying for a temporary license to sell or to store on seasonal demand like Diwali – This licence will be issued in a time of 1 week to 1 month as decided by local authorities

Government has enforced public to follow strict rules and regulations while dealing crackers and explosives under the Explosive policy.
To administer the responsibilities delegated under the Explosives Act 1884 the rules made thereunder related to manufacture, import, export, transport, possession, sale and use of Explosives
Without this license one can’t deal or trade such items.
Match Factories, Cracker shops are few of the establishments which requires this license
To ensure public safety, Government has formed and regulates these traders to follow the set of rules and keep track of those involved in this business for timely supervision
