Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the Employee Verification form from the nearest police station in Odisha.
2. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
3. Provide the complete description of the employee in the section provided for the same.
4. Mention the employee’s friend’s or relative’s information.
5. Provide the voluntary finger prints of the employee if necessary.
6. Provide the required information of the employer.
7. Affix the Passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
8. Attach Photocopy of Photo ID proofs of the employee.
9. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the nearest Police Station in Odisha.

11. Pay the processing fee if required.
12. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
13. Follow up to know the status of your report, and visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.

1. To apply for an Employee Verification online, one has to login to Odisha’s Citizen Portal.Odisha CCTNS
2. If you are a new user, register a new Citizen account with your details by clicking on Register.
3. Now login with your account and select Employee Verification from the citizen services drop down menu.
4. In the given new window, fill the Employee’s details by selecting each given tab.
5. Fill the required details of the Employer.
6. Upload the photo and documents in required file size and format.
7. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
8. Pay the Employee Verification Processing fee if required.
9. After submission, you will receive your Service Request No. through SMS or E-Mail.
10. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
11. Any other information will be sent to the registered mobile Number.
12. You will receive the report in your registered email Id or you can download your report from the citizen portal once it is ready.

• While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with police before employing them.
