Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To get Clean Certificate of Inspection (Port Authority) in person, the applicant has to visit the office any of the Pre-shipment Inspection Agencies in Nigeria.

3. Some of the accredited agencies and their contact links can be found in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
4. Visit any of the agency’s office and obtain a Request for Inspection (RFI) form from the relevant department.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Complete the application form as required with appropriate details and information. Attest the application form with your signature.
7. Attach the documents with the completed application form.
8. Submit the application form and attached documents to the relevant authority at the office. Pay the applicable fees as directed by the officials.
9. After submission, the technical officers will conduct inspection of the products and goods.
10. Upon approval of the application request, the applicant is informed regarding the approval through phone or email and asked to collect the Certificate through any applicable means.
