Apply In-Person:
- To apply for getting Certificate of Quality for Goods and Drugs in person, the applicant has to visit the Ports Inspection Directorate (PID)or Corporate Headquarters of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.

- The applicant will have to prepare an application letter as a request for the Certificate for Goods and Drugs, addressed to the Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
- Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Attach all the required documents with the application letter, and then submit it at the NAFDACPorts Inspection Directorate (PID) or Corporate Headquarters.
- After submission, the application and accompanying documents are subsequently reviewed and verified.
- Upon satisfactory assessment of the application, the agency proceeds to process the Certificate. Once the document is ready, the applicant is notified via email or phone.
- Then, the applicant can visit the office and collect the Certificate.

- Any exporter in Nigeria, who requires an inspection and Certificate of QualityfortheGoods and Drugs to be exported, from NAFDAC, can apply.
- The goods and drugs to be inspected must have registered with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
