Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for changing Non-Governmental Organization officials in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.

3. Before proceeding to apply, a Special Resolution should have been made at a general meeting regarding the change of Directors or Appointment/Change of Secretary.
4. Once all these have been done, visit the office and obtain an application for Change of officials (Form CO7 or CO7A), as required from the relevant department.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Now, complete the form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
7. Then, pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account. Find the information regarding payment in the office website or contact the office.
8. After paying the fees, attach all the required documents with the completed application and submit it to the relevant official at the office.
9. Then, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further verification processes.
10. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps for the Change of company officials.
11. After completion of all required processes, the applicant will be notified to visit the office and issued with the instrument of modification.
