Nigeria - Change of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Officials

Apply In-Person:
- To apply for changing Non-Governmental Organization officials in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
- The address and contact details of the Corporate Affairs Commission can be found in the following contact link
- Before proceeding to apply, a Special Resolution should have been made at a general meeting regarding the change of Directors or Appointment/Change of Secretary.
- Once all these have been done, visit the office and obtain an application for Change of officials (Form CO7 or CO7A), as required from the relevant department.
- Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Now, complete the form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
- Then, pay the applicable fees as directed to the relevant bank account. Find the information regarding payment in the office website or contact the office.
- After paying the fees, attach all the required documents with the completed application and submit it to the relevant official at the office.
- Then, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authorities for further verification processes.
- Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps for the Change of company officials.
- After completion of all required processes, the applicant will be notified to visit the office and issued with the instrument of modification.
