Procedure

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Apply In-Person:
Subsistence Allowance/Financial Allowance to person with special need combined scheme of both state and central government Disability Pension Scheme

1. To apply for this scheme, the eligible person has to submit two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the concerned District Social Welfare Office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter OR write on a plain paper OR download using the following link. link please select the hyperlink under disability pension session as per requirement for application form.
4. After scrutiny, the application will be forwarded to the concerned authority for approval.
5. Following the approval, the approval letter is dispatched to the respective Post Office of the applicant or bank, where a savings account is opened in the name of the beneficiary for making the payments.
6. In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.

• Signature/Thumb impression of the patient countersigned by the Medial Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital (with seal)
• Proof of Age
• Recent attested photograph showing the disability affixed here.
• Domicile certificate as per requirement
• Three passport size photographs of the applicant.
• Aadhaar card.
• Bank account details
• Mobile number.
• Passport size photograph of applicant (please take 5 copies).
• Any other document to claim benefits offered by respective state government as advised by authorities.

Eligibility

• Age should not be more than 60 years (0 to 60years).
• Family income should not be more than Rs. 75,000/- p.a. from all sources.
• Should be a resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for at least 5 years preceding the date of submission of application.
• Disability more than 40%.
• Posses disability certificate from The Medical Board of Govt. Hospital
• Should have a 'single-operated' account in any Bank or Post Office for receiving the payment (This provision may be relaxed in the case of minors, mentally challenged applicants or those who come under the purview of Legal Guardianship as per rules of National Trust)
• Applicant should be a citizen of India

Fees

Service is free.

Validity

• As per the age limit prescribed by the central government scheme.
• Age limit for state level scheme will be notified by respective authorities.

Need for the Document

• Disabled (with acceptable percentage) applicant shall apply to avail this pension.
• Persons with Disabilities are provided with financial aid from the state government.
• Disability certificate should be obtained from the respective hospital as applicable
