Apply In-Person:

  1. Application form for Crop Loss Claim is available in the agriculture department or Tehsildar office in New Delhi contact link
  2. Applicants approach the agriculture department and applicants get their application form for crop loss claim.
  3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
  4. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all necessary documents while applying for this procedure.
  5. Documents that are necessary for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (Whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting for this procedure.
  7. If all above – mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, concerned authorities will provide notification to the applicant regarding their crop loss claim within 72 hours.
  8. If there is no information provided regarding the crop loss claim to the applicant, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
  9. The application will be processed and information will be verified by the agricultural office.
  10. If the verification is successful, notification will be sent to the applicant.
  11. The applicant after seeing the notification can go to the agriculture office/Tahsildar office and applicant get the Crop Loss claim.



Apply Online

  1. To Apply for Crop Loss Claim, the applicant can make the application online via the PMFBY website or tap the following link link
  2. The applicant has to “Click Report Crop Loss” click “Login for Farmer” enter the registered mobile number and enter the captcha for verification and click “Get OTP” and the OTP to log in.
  3. If the applicant doesn’t have an account, click “Guest Farmer” to complete the registration form, and click “Create User” to register an account.
  4. After login, the applicant has to enter their details in the application form.
  5. Next, the applicant has to enter the details of the farm and crops. (The applicant has to enter the accurate details. Providing fake details is highly punishable)
  6. Upload relevant documents as applicable. All the necessary documents are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. Enter the “captcha” at the prompted space and click the “Submit” button to apply online.
  8. There is no fee for online application.
  9. A system-generated reference id will be displayed as acknowledgment.
  10. Save this id safe for future reference to check the status.
  11. This application will be processed by the agriculture department.
  12. The internal process will be initiated to verify the details.
  13. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  14. The processing time of the procedure takes up to 30-45 days.

  1. To Apply for Crop Loss Claim, the applicant makes the applicant via the following app link

Apply CSC Centre

  1. To Apply for Crop Loss Claim, the applicant has to approach the nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) Link
    • Note: The applicant has to select their respective district to find nearby office.
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant to provide their details to the officer in charge.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
  4. The applicant has to attach the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page (If required).
  5. Submit the completed application and document to the centre staff.
  6. The applicant has to pay the service fee as per the authority’s request.
  7. The application submitted will be processed and a receipt with the application number will be issued.
  8. The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about the date of the visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.
  9. The processing time of the procedure takes up to 30-45 days.

InstructionsEdit

  • Coverage is applicable to farmers in case of widespread incidence of eligible risks affecting crops in more than 75% o area shown in a notified unit at early stage leading to total loss of crop or farmer is not in a position to either sow or transplant the crop or either sowing or germination of crop due to deficit or excess rainfall.
  • Eligibility criteria: only those farmers who have paid the premium / the premium have been debited from their account before the damage. The state government would provide notified insurance unit and crop wise normal area sown at the beginning of the season within 15 days. “prevented sowing/planting” pay – out only if more than 75% of crop sown area for notified crop remained unsown due to occurrence of any of the above perils.

  • Crop loss aims to provide insurance protection to the farmer against adverse weather incidence. Such as deficits and excess rainfall, high or low temperature, humidity etc.

  • Loss assessment procedure : farmer needs to provide intimation within 72 hours after the damage should be provided on our call centre number 1800 266 0700 , our local office , concern bank , local agriculture department & district officials and intimation must contain details of survey number-wise insured crop and acreage.
