Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for an Employee Verification In-Person, get the prescribed form for Employee Verification from the concerned police station in Nagaland Police Stations
2. In the procured form, fill the required details of the employee.
3. Fill the details of the employee’s Id Proof.
4. Fill the required details of the employer.
5. Affix the Passport size photograph of the employee in the space given.
6. Attach Photocopy of the employee’s Photo ID proofs.
7. Duly sign the form and submit the form at the concerned Police Station or DCP Office.
8. Pay the required processing fee.
9. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
10. Follow up to know the status of your report, and visit the Police Station to get the report once it is ready.
    

Note: Make sure you carry the original Id proofs with you for cross verification.

Apply Online - Apply to get Employee (Job) Verification Online with Images

1. To apply for an Employee Verification online, visit the link: Offline Form
2. From the given options, select “Employee Verification Form”, enter the captcha, select your preferred language and click on “Download”.
3. Open the downloaded form, fill all the required details by selecting each given tab and click on Generate XML.
4. To submit the file, visit the link Citizen Portal
5. If you are a new user, create a new user account by selecting “Create Citizen Login”, fill your details and click on submit.
6. In the redirected page, login with your credentials.
7. From the “Citizen Services” option, select “Download or submit E form” to submit your generated XML file.
8. To apply online, select “Employee Verification” from the “Citizen Services” menu.
9. Fill all the required details by selecting each given tab.
10. Upload the required documents of the Employee in the required file size and format.
11. Check the details filled for any correction before you submit the form. Submitted forms cannot be altered.
12. Pay the required processing fee.
13. Your application will now be processed and the police will make verifications to create a Report.
14. You can check the status of your application by selecting “Search Status” option from the Citizen Portal.
15. You can download the report online or the report will be sent to your registered Mail Id once it is ready.

• Residence Certificate Issued By SDM/Teshildar

• It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Verification Report.
• The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

Need for the Document

• While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with police before employing them.
• This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

• When one applies for such verification, the police verifies the submitted information and the employee’s details are stored with the police.
• This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
• Usually, in the event of a crime, the police would be left with zero information about the employee's details. However, the information gained through the employee registration process would help the police to track such crimes.
