Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Export Wood and Articles of Wood in person, the applicant should contact the Mauritius Agricultural Services. Contact link

Eligibility

• In Mauritius, all businesses that export wood and articles of wood must be registered with the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) and must have an import/export license.

Fees

• Payment of import fee of Rs500 per animal and veterinary clearance fee of Rs500, as applicable at time of application.

• The cost of food will be settled at the end of each month if they do not provide food for your dog/cat - Rs25 per day per animal.

Validity

• The permit is valid for six months from the date it is issued.
