‘’A Caste Validity certificate is a proof that your caste certificate is not dubious or inaccurate.’’
Apply In-Person

  1. In order to obtain caste validity certificate, applicant shall go to the respective Tehsil / Revenue / circle Office OR the respective office of “department of welfare for backward classes”as applicable.
  2. Link for contact details : linkPlease select the respective division names from the tabs to reach another page. Here select the name of the region for which the details are required. User will get the portal for the selected place. From here contact details for the zilla parishad can be obtained to contact the block development officials.
  3. Application form can be obtained from the office while applicant visits. OR Applicant shall write an application on a A4 paper.
  4. Submit the completed application form along with required documents to the respective authority.
  5. Authorities after checking the attached documents and details submitted, will process for issuing the certificate.
  6. Duly stamped, signed Certificate will be issued as per notified period.



Through CSC

  1. Use the following link to find the centre. Link: Contact link
  2. Please go the respective office.
  3. Application can be obtained from the authorities. Please pay for application form as authorities quote.
  4. Submit the complete application along with required documents to the operator in the centre.
  5. Operator will check the details and start to process online using the computer.
  6. Applicant will be issued with the printout of the resulting output.



Apply Online

  1. Visit the following link: Online verification site
  2. Please select the “login” tab on the screen to reach the next page for login.
    1. If you are a new user, then use the “New Registration” option to register and then login.
  3. once login, user will gat a page with information. Please go through and click on the option box for “I have read…” and then select the appropriate option from drop down list against “Select purpose of caste verification” to get next page.
  4. Here please complete the page prompt for the details asked for and upload required documents.
  5. After completing the details for the entire prompts, please hit “Done” tab at the bottom of the page to reach next page.
  6. User gets message to check for necessary message in his/her email ID with application number.
  7. Please go through the information as per mail.
  8. Now on the same online page, user being login. Please select “Document details” option on the left part of the screen and in the resulting page please select the appropriate options followed by entering details.
  9. Finally hit “Save” tab at the bottom to reach next page.
  10. Now Please select “Relative details” option on the left part of the screen and in the resulting page please follow as per page requirement and then Please select “Confirm print application” option on the left part of the screen and in the resulting page please click on the check box for “I hereby declare…” and hit “Done” tab.
  11. In the resulting page, please hit “Print application form” tab to print the application form.
  12. This online application will be processed further and certificate will be issued after notification.

  • Self-declaration (as applicable)
  • Father's caste certificate. (If not available then provide ‘no caste certificate’ on bond paper as advised)
  • Caste validity certificate of relatives. ( if already caste certificate verified is available.)
  • 1950′s proofs of caste for SC/NT,1953′s proofs of caste for ST/NT[A/B/C/D],1967′s proofs for OBC/SBC/EBC.(if available from ancestors)

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Community Certificate is also known as caste certificate. Community certificate is a legal proof of community that the person to whom it is being issued belongs to reserved community like scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward classes.
  • Caste certificate is an important certificate to avail certain benefits provided by Government for the socially backward communities in education and employment opportunities for their betterment.
  • Students especially require the caste certificates to secure their seat in institution and validity certificate will be required to prove the authenticity.
  • This is valid for securing admission in all Educational Institutions and other professional institutions and also for employment.

Information which might helpEdit

  • An individual cannot change his / her caste once he/she issued the caste certificate. However, while converting into another religion, the class may change necessitating a new caste/community certificate.
NOTE : It is a punishable offense to try with fraudulent documents to get a community certificate
