Procedure

• Paddy reaper machine is used for harvesting many types of crops like rice, wheat, soybean, forage grass and other simple Individual plants.

Apply Online

1. Please use the following link to reach the online portal Link
2. In the given page, please click on the “Direct Benefit Transfer In Agriculture Mechanization” option to reach a new page. Please click on the “REGISTRATION” menu and choose the “FARMER” sub option to get the “Important Information” pop-up. Please go through the details and click on the “Close” button to close the pop-up screen.
3. In the “Farmer Registration” page, please click on the checkbox as appropriate. Let’s click on the checkbox for “Aadhar No” to get set of prompts.
4. The user shall select the state from the dropdown list as appropriate provided under “Select State”. Enter the Aadhaar number at the provided space under “Aadhaar No”. Click on the ”Submit” button to get a set of prompts.
5. Please complete the prompts as appropriate and click on the “Register” button at the bottom to get a “Consent for authentication” pop-up. Please go through the details and click on the “Register With Consent” button to get a “User ID & Password” pop-up.
6. Please save the user ID and password information and click on the “Click Here” button.
7. The applicant will be re-directed to the “Login” page. Please click on the checkbox for the “Farmer” option to get a login pop-up. The applicant shall complete the login credentials as appropriate. Enter the captcha as applicable. Click on the “Sign In” button to reach the dashboard page.
8. In the dashboard page, please click on the “Add/View Application” option provided on the left part of the screen and choose “Application for Single Implement” sub option to reach the “Instructions” section.
9. Please go through the instructions carefully and click on the “Register New Application” section.
10. Here, please select the applicable period from the dropdown list against “Select Financial Year to view applications” and process the other prompts as appropriate. Once the mandatory details are filled in, please click on the “Add Application” button to get a message pop-up. The applicant shall click on the “Ok” button to close the pop-up.
11. The applicant will get an “OTP Verification” pop-up. An “OTP” will be sent to the email ID. Please enter the received “OTP” at the prompted space as appropriate and then click on the “Submit OTP” button.
12. The applicant will be given two prompts to process. Please select the option from the dropdown list under “Implements” and “Location” respectively. Please click on the “Check Availability” button.
13. The page will provide “Current Available Implement with Schemes”. Please view the details and click on the “Add” button for the respective scheme section.
14. The applicant shall go through the details carefully. Once the applicant is satisfied, please click on the checkbox for the declaration and click on the “Add Application” button to get the application details in the resulting page along with the current status.
15. The applicant shall click on the “Find Dealer” button to get a list of dealers. Please click on the “Add Dealer” button provided under the respective dealer section of the applicant’s choice.
16. Once the above steps are completed, the applicant need to complete the bank details section. Please complete the prompts as appropriate and click on the “Submit Bank Detail” button.
17. The applicant shall process the prompts for land details section as appropriate. Upload the documents as applicable and click on the “Submit Land Detail” button and then upload the required document as prompted.
18. Once the documents are uploaded successfully, please click on the “Upload” button. In the next section, the applicant will be prompted to submit the family details.
19. Once the details are processed as applicable, the applicant shall click on the “Submit Family Detail” button and please complete the other prompts as appropriate and then click on the “Submit” button to submit the application online.
20. The applicant will be taken to the “Farmer Applications” page with application details.
21. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s Aadhaar linked mobile number. Please keep track of the notification.
22. This application will be processed further. The department will assess the application to decide on the requirement.
23. Once the application is considered for grant of subsidy, it will be forwarded to the respective team for budget approval and sanction.
24. Based on the above process, a work order will be issued to the applicant.
25. The applicant shall approach the government approved dealer and get the quotation.
26. Please submit the work order, quotation and other mandatory documents with a covering letter to the respective district agriculture engineering office.
27. The authorities after verifying the details will guide the applicant to make the payment.
28. Please deposit the amount in the respective account as applicable and collect the receipt for the payment. The farmer shall provide the copy of the receipt of payment to the respective receiving authority with whom the application was submitted.
29. The department will forward the case with recommendation to the sanctioning authority for the grant of subsidy.
30. The sanctioning authority will evaluate the case and sanction the subsidy based on the category of the applicant. The subsidy amount will be transferred to the applicant’s bank account.
31. The status, viz. approval, will be conveyed to the applicant (and also to the service provider/manufacturer) through a “SMS” or as per applicable norms.
32. The whole process shall be completed within the financial year or as per the advised time period.

Apply Online through State Portal

1. Please use the following link to reach the online portal Link
2. In the given “State Agriculture Mechanization Scheme” page, please click on the “New Applicant Registration” option on the right part of the screen to reach the “New Registration” page.
3. Here, please complete the prompts as appropriate. The user shall validate the email ID and mobile number using the applicable prompts. Once the validation is complete, enter the captcha at the prompted space as appropriate. Finally click on the “Register” button to get a “Success” popup. Please click on the “OK” button to complete the registration.
4. The user will be redirected to the “Login” page.
5. Please select the “User ID” and enter the login credentials as appropriate. Enter the captcha at the prompted space as applicable and then click on the “Login Here” button. The user shall also use the “Aadhaar Number” and follow the prompt as applicable to log in.
6. The user will reach a new page with “Do you want to register as a farmers’ group/ FPO/ organization?” prompt. Please click on the “Yes” or “No” option as appropriate. Please select the “No” button for individual type.
7. Another prompt “Do You Have Aadhaar Number?” will be provided. Please click on the “Yes” option and furnish the Aadhaar number at the prompted space as appropriate and click on the “OTP” option to receive an “OTP” in the registered mobile number.
8. Please enter the received “OTP” at the given space as appropriate and click on the applicable button to validate.
9. Once login, the applicant will get a pop-up. Please click on the “OK’ button to reach the “Profile Status” page. Please use the “click here” option to reach the “Update Profile” page. The applicant shall complete the prompts as appropriate and use the applicable button to update the profile.
10. Once the above steps are complete, please click on the “Apply” option against “Agriculture Department” in the “Suggest Eligible Scheme..” page.
11. The applicant will reach the “Submit Application” page. Please click on the “Choose Component” button against the “Farm Mechanization” to reach the “Farm Mechanization” page.
12. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate and click on the “Add Component” button.
13. The applicant shall follow the on-screen information and save the system generated acknowledgement for future reference.
14. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s Aadhaar linked mobile number. Please keep track of the notification.
15. This application will be processed further. Please follow the notification and department’s guidelines to get the subsidy as per applicable norms.

Apply In-Person:

1. In view of promoting agriculture, the central and state government is providing numerous subsidies to purchase agricultural machinery and equipment under the “National Agricultural Development Subsidy” scheme. The eligible farmers interested in the scheme shall reach the respective district agriculture engineering office or the concerned office as per respective state norms.
2. Contact Link AND the farmers are also advised to visit the respective block development office – BDO Link2 please select the district as per the map to reach next page. In the given page please select menu option “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC CONVENIENCE>Municipality” OR “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES > Municipalities” OR “ABOUT THE DISTRICT” > “Who’s (Whose) who” to get contact details AND Panchayat please use the excel sheet hyperlink against your state/UT for a new page. Here, please process the page prompts as appropriate and click on the “Sign In” button to get the file downloaded.
3. The farmers shall call up the contact numbers provided in the pages as per the above link to know the appropriate office to apply in person.
4. Please visit the respective office and obtain the application form to apply, or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised or follow the authority’s guidelines.
5. Please complete the application form. Attach the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page and submit it to the designated receiving authority in person.
6. On receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the application details and documents.
7. If all are in place, the application will be accepted and an acknowledgement slip with a serial number will be issued. Please keep it safe for future reference. This service is offered on a "first come first serve" basis.

NOTE:

• The subsidy is also offered for the items that are already purchased. The applicant shall get the guidance from the dealers about the grant and the type of machine for which the subsidy is offered. In this case, the applicant shall submit the bill along with the other documents. The department will inspect the machinery and then grant the applicable subsidy as per norms.
• Based on the announcement from the state agricultural department, the respective area farmers shall form a self-help group SHG. These self-help groups will be provided with the amount required for the purchase of the Reaper.
• Please follow the notification and guidelines of the department.
• With change and updates in norms and government orders, the approval of subsidy amount and the share of the farmer will vary. The farmer shall clarify these details with the respective authorities of block level agricultural engineering department office.
• The release of subsidy fund for the approved case will be through bank only.
• The farmer’s share of the subsidy shall be provided by means of loan too. The farmer shall enquire with the information counter of the respective block level agricultural engineering department office.

Eligibility

• Applicant should be a citizen of India.
• Those who are 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
• Applicant should be a farmer (small and marginal farmers are eligible to apply).
• Women farmers and farmers from SC/ST communities will be given additional subsidy.
• The farmer should be the resident of the respective state.
• The applicant should own a land as per the size advised by the respective state.
• The land should be free from encumbrances, litigation and attachments.
• The ownership of land should be in the name of the applicant.
• The land should be cultivable.

Fees

• Fee information and other charges can be obtained directly from the department office while applying.
• To avail the subsidy, the farmer has to pay the initial share as per the advice of the department.
• As per the scheme, the government is offering 50% (or the percentage as offered) subsidy on the price of the machinery or the fixed maximum subsidy, whichever is less, to the small, marginal, scheduled castes and tribes and women farmers. Other farmers will get a maximum of 40% (or the percentage as offered) subsidy.
• The percentage of subsidy varies from state to state.

Validity

• The subsidy availed by a farmer is utilized for the purchase of Reaper.
• The applicants are advised to follow the timeline (if any) provided by the authorities to initiate the purchase of the machine or make the initial payment.

Instructions

• Under the “National Agricultural Development Subsidy” scheme, respective districts have been allotted subsidy for sanctioned number of tractors, Reaper, power tillers, etc. In addition, these districts are allotted with a budget to setting up a centre to lease out the machinery.
• In case, the target (sanctioned number for that area) of any particular variety of machinery is achieved, the farmers will be advised to wait for the turn.
• Incomplete application will be rejected.
• Do not submit fake documents as a proof to get subsidy.
• Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
