Apply In-Person

  1. To get subsidy for Goat farming, visit any local agriculture bank or regional bank with NABARD of your respective area.The Office Locations & Contacts can be found in the following District Offices Link. Please select the respective state and district to view the appropriate address.
  2. Visit the Office and get the application form to get subsidy for goat farming from the relevant department.
  3. Please fill the application form with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant’s signature.
  4. Attach all the documents that are listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Then, submit the application form along with the business plan to get approval from the NABARD to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the process at the office as directed by the officials. Make sure you get the receipt for the fee paid and keep it safe for future reference.
  6. The application and attached documents will be sent for verification to check, if there is any discrepancy.
  7. A technical officer will visit and inquire about the farm before the sanctioning of the subsidy.
  8. After all the processes are completed, the subsidy amount is sanctioned and the money is transferred to the borrower’s account.
  9. It takes 30-45days for the sanction of subsidy to the borrower’s account.
  10. The Office will inform the applicant about the sanction of the subsidy in person or by any applicable means.

  • Copy of Address proof (Ration card/ Voter ID/ utility bill/ Aadhar/ PAN)
  • Copy of Identity proof (Aadhar card/ Driving license/ PAN/ Voter ID)

  • Goat farming plan
  • Land registration documents
  • Banking particulars
  • Bank statements for 6 months preceding the loan application date

EligibilityEdit

  • Individuals, registered partnership firms, co-operatives and companies are eligible to apply for the subsidy for Goat farming.
  • The farmer must have adequate experience in goat farming. The farmer should have adequate space to house the animals, adequate veterinary care facility, assured marketing facilities.
  • All Individual farmers / Group of farmers having requisite infrastructure and technical background in goat farming are eligible.

  • The Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.

  • The Loan repayment period of NABARD loan is 15 years.
