Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Maharashtra must visit the Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board office. Click on the following link to find the address of the Regional office link
2. Click on the district name to find contact details of the office in the area.
3. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
4. Submit the letter to the pollution control officer.
5. The officer will issue a receipt for further reference.
6. No fee is required for this procedure.
7. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
8. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.
