Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To Change name of the Trade Union, please visit the Office of the Registrar of Trade Unions assigned by the state government. The address and contact details of the office can be found in the following Link.
2. Visit the Office and get the application form to change name of trade union from the relevant department.
3. Please fill the application form with essential information and details and it should be attested with the Secretary and by seven members of the trade union.
4. Please attach all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials. Please collect the acknowledgement slip for the paid fee. Keep it safe for future reference.
6. The application and attached documents will be sent for verification to check, if there is any discrepancy.
7. After all the processes are completed, the registrar will approve the application and proceed with the Change in name of the trade union.
8. The name changing process will take a minimum of 14 days.
9. Once the certificate is ready to be collected, office will inform the applicant to collect it in person or through any applicable means.
