Apply In Person
- To Apply or Renew License for Primary School, please visit the School Education and Sports Department. The address and contact details of the office can be found in the following Contact Link.
- Visit the Office and get the application form to apply or renew License for Primary School from the relevant department.
- Please fill the application with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant’s signature.
- Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page. Attach all the important documents mentioned.
- Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials. Please collect the acknowledgement slip for the paid fee. Keep it safe for future reference.
- Your application and attached documents will be sent for verification to check, if there is any discrepancy.
- After all the processes are completed, concerned officials will approve the application and proceed with the license issuance process.
- The time taken to issue a license is 30 days. The time taken to renew the license is a minimum of 15-20 days from the date of application.
- Once the license is ready to be collected, office will inform the applicant to collect it through any applicable means.

- Registered Trust deed
- Registered land document in the name of the school
- Registered lease deed / rental agreement for 30 years
- Approved plan from the competent authority of the DTCP/CMDA
- Building License from the Revenue department
- Structural Stability Certificate from engineers panel approved by the District Collector
- Sanitary certificate
- No objection certificate issued by the Fire and Rescue Department
- Proof to be attached for one month salary of the teachers deposited in any nationalized Bank
- Photographs/details of the School infrastructure

EligibilityEdit
- Any person who wishes to set up a Primary school can apply.
- Any person, who wishes to renew the school license, can apply 30days before the expiry of the existing license.
- Any person who wishes to set up a Primary School should bear a Registered Trust / Society.
- The certificate should be obtained verification from the Deputy Director of Elementary education.
