Apply In-Person

  1. Applicant has to get the letter head for the firm and should get required document as per our page.
  2. Applicant should go to the licensing officer to apply.

  4. Please collect the appropriate application form as per officer’s advice or write on a A4 sheet.

  6. Please select “License and permit” menu. A popup will be displayed.
  7. Please select the icon next to “Seed sales“,
  8. Please enter your place name and click “Search!” button provided at the top right corner.
  9. List of nearby service providing office details will be displayed. Select as per your choice.
  10. In the given application selection page please select “Farmer Welfare and Agricultural Development” for Department and click “13.1 (C) Issue of seed sale license” option for Service prompt.
  11. As per above selection user will be displayed with application letter.
  12. Please fill the prompts. Upload applicable documents and print the form using “Print form” button at the top right of the page.
  13. Take printout of the application.
  14. Submit the completed application with required documents as mentioned in our required documents session.
  15. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted as per the mode (treasury challan or as acceptable).
  16. Applicant after remitting the mentioned amount, should provide the same to the department authority for processing.
  17. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
  18. This application will be processed by the respective department.
  19. Applicant will get intimation for inspection of premises.
  20. Authorities will inspect the business place and do their due diligence for the machine / other apparatus as mentioned in application by applicant.
  21. Once all the process yields satisfactory result, Applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
  22. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.

  • Any person desiring to sell, stock or exhibit or distribute any seed is eligible to make an application to the licensing officer for the grant of a license.
