Apply Online - Kerala Obtain Liquor Possession Permit for serving in Special occassions Online with Images

1. Permit granting authority for this application is Excise department. The link provided here will help applicant to reach respective authorities for their queries: link
2. Applicant can apply for the license through online. Use the link to reach Online portal: link
3. Please select citizen login on the right side of the page under “ Citizen Section” to get login page.
4. Already registered user can login using their user id and password. Otherwise, use “Don't have an account? Register HERE” option at the bottom of the login panel to register and then login.
5. Once login, please select Apply for service and click view services on the left part of the page.
6. Select your service(license for serving on special occasion) from the list shown and click “Apply”.
7. Enter the details as prompted and click “Save & Preview” followed by attaching the scanned documents in PDF format, size of the PDF document should be below 10 MB.
8. Please follow the successive page prompts and reach the payment session. Please pay as per page prompt.
9. Once all the processes are finished successfully, user gets acknowledgement for the transaction. Keep it safe for future reference.
10. This acknowledgement also provides suggested date for getting the certificate.
11. Applicant shall meet the respective authorities on notification to process the permit.
    
    

Apply In-Person

1. One need to apply for a license to the deputy excise commissioner. Link for contact details : link
2. Go to the license issuing authority of your area to do the preliminary round of discussion for the area you wanted to obtain the license. If the area proposed is accepted, then the applicant can start his work.
3. Applicant shall apply to the issuing authority after the required document and fees requirement are in place.
4. Please follow as per the authorities advice on application process. Their might be a format to apply or can be a written one.
5. Once the application is received, authorities will verify the details and inform about the successive steps.
6. Inspection of place, if required will be done through police department and announcement of the fee to be paid will also be informed. Applicant has to pay the fees as advice.
7. After all the formalities are successful, applicant will be informed to collect the licence. Collect the license from the authorities.
