Apply In-Person
- An institution desiring to offer animal health services to safeguard their health and welfare shall after being registered by the relevant body, apply to the Kenya Veterinary Board for approval by submitting an application.
- This can be done by visiting the KVB Offices and obtaining an Application Form 32 to fill and submit. The application form can only be obtained from the KVB Offices and cannot be downloaded from their website.
- You will be required to pay the appropriate application fees together with the inspection fees and submit the payment receipt. The amount of fees to be paid can be found under the "Fees" section of this page or at KVB registration fees page.
- The Kenya Veterinary Board shall, on receipt of the application will carry out inspections of the institution and if satisfied that it conforms to set standards, will approve the institution for the courses proposed.
- The institution will be required to pay a one-time licensing fee to be issued with a license. The amount of fees to be paid can be found under the "Fees" section of this page or at KVB registration fees page.
- This approval is usually for a period of one year.
- The Kenya Veterinary Board shall inspect approved institutions from time to time. The Board shall carry out inspection every year for the purpose of approval.
- The license may be cancelled at any time when the Board establishes a breach of any provisions of these Regulations.
Note:
- If the organization changes the veterinary surgeon, it should notify the Kenya Veterinary Board and it should suspend all animal health services until it has recruited a veterinary surgeon in charge of the animal health services.

- Inspection fees for Non-Governmental Animal Health and Welfare Providers. Ksh 30,000 , Paid Annually
- Application fees can be paid directly to Cooperative Bank, Westlands Branch, Ac no 01141151721300 and banking slip presented to KVB. Include your name in the narrative.
- Gazetted fees for various services ,Fee Summary

- The license is valid for a period of one year.
