Apply in PersonEdit
- To obtain a Cabin Member Crew Certificate, one has to complete and submit the prescribed Application Form for Issue/Renewal of Cabin Member Crew Certificate - FORM-O-PEL018 application form.
- This form can be obtained by visiting the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Branch Offices or by downloading it from their KCAA Website.
- After filling the application documents you are required to submit them to the KCAA offices or you can forwarded them to the:-

- After filling the Cabin Member Crew Certificate application form you are required to submit them together with all the required documents. These documents include:-
- (i). The current Medical Certificate Class 2.
- (ii). Knowledge and practical tests results’ slip. The knowledge test results for a cabin crew member certificate shall be valid for twelve months after passing the examination.
- (iii). 2 Passport size photos whose size should be 2cm b 2.5cm.
- (iv). A copy of a photo ID or Passport.
- (v). A certificate issued by an Authorised Training Organisation indicating satisfactory completion of the training.
- (i). The current Medical Certificate Class 2.
- You are also to proceed to pay the prescribed application fees and submit the payment receipt to together with the application documents.
- An application fee of KSh.2,000 is charged for the certificate.

- A processing time of 7 days is needed to complete the processing of the Cabin Member Crew Certificate, after which you will be contacted through a phone call to collect your new license at the KCAA offices.
- You will be required to carry your identification documents when collecting your certificate.

EligibilityEdit
- An applicant for cabin crew member certificate shall:-
- Be at least eighteen years of age;
- Be able to read, speak and understand the English language sufficiently to adequately carry out the responsibilities of a cabin crew member;
- Have completed a course of training approved by the Authority proven by a letter from KCAA confirming the approval.
- Have passed a knowledge and practical tests within the last six months preceding the date of application.

- The validity period of a cabin crew member certificate is One year.

- Pay the applicable fees and submit the payment receipt.
- Wait for the processing period to elapse then collect your new cabin crew member certificate.

- A person shall not act as a cabin crew member unless that person holds a valid cabin crew member certificate.
Information which might helpEdit
- Present a photo Identification Card or a Passport as a form of identification, details of which should be the same as the personal information provided on the prescribed application form; and if the applicant’s identity cannot be verified, the application will be rejected, and the applicant will have to return with the proper identification.
