Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Apply or Obtain Seed Sale Licence or Permit the applicant has to make the application online via the following link link
2. The applicant has to enter their credentials and click “register”.
3. After registration enter into login using the SMS Password and User ID credentials.
4. Then an application page will open, wherein applicant should fill all the fields specifically mandatory fields.
5. Applicant should mention the particulars name and firm name, type of dealership, Sale point address and Storage point Address and Responsible person details, and then tick mark before I agree with the details to continue.
6. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. Next page will open for fee payment. Applicant should pay license fee as prescribed.
8. After successful completion of payment, submit the application form.
9. After applicant submits application, it moves to concerned officer’s login, concerned officer verify the fields entered and the documents uploaded.
10. At verification stage officer can send back to the applicant for upload incomplete documents. Application is forwarded to concerned Licensing authority after complete verification.
11. Licensing authority again verifies the documents and if thru, he will accept the application and forward to inspection for concerned jurisdiction officer.
12. Once all the process yields satisfactory result, Applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
13. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain seed sale license the applicant has to get the letter head for the firm and should get required document as per our page.
2. Applicant should go to the district agriculture office (DAO).

4. Please collect the appropriate application form as per officer’s advice or write on a A4 sheet as advised.
5. Submit the completed application with required documents as mentioned in our required documents session.
6. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted as per the mode (treasury challan or as acceptable).
7. Applicant after remitting the mentioned amount, should provide the same to the department authority for processing.
8. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
9. This application will be processed by the respective department.
10. Applicant will get intimation for inspection of premises.
11. Authorities will inspect the business place and do their due diligence for the machine / other apparatus as mentioned in application by applicant.
12. Once all the process yields satisfactory result, Applicant gets intimation to collect the License.
13. On the said date, applicant can collect the license.

Validity

A license granted, shall be valid for the period specified therein, May be renewed from time to time for such period and on payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
