Karnataka - Apply Allowance for Un-Employed Disabled Person

Apply Online
- An application form to obtain a disability certificate is available at the following link
- If the applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “User ID” and “Password”.
- Following link can be used for login link
- If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Register” option.
- While registering, applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on “Submit” button.
- Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
- Once the registration is successful, Application Registration number will be generated.
- Applicant will receive SMS with date and time to visit the nearest CMO office for assessment.
- Disability Certificate/UDID Card will be generated online after the assessment.
- SMS confirmation will be sent to the applicant with the UDID number.
- There is no requirement of any fee for the application.
- Applicant can check the status of the application by login with their “Enrolment / UDID / Request Number / Mobile Number / Aadhar Number”

- After the applicant receives the disability certificate issued by the competent authority, the applicant is eligible for unemployment allowance.
- The application form for the allowance for unemployed disabled people is available at District Offices and Directorate Offices.
- Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before Validating Allowance.
- Approval will be provided after examination of documents.
- Allowance will be provided within 15 to 20 days. If the allowance has not been given, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for allowance for an unemployed disabled person, the applicant has to get a disability certificate first. An application form can be obtained from the nearest social welfare office contact link
- Applicant can also use the following link to download form link
- Applicant must carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this Page.
- Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
- Applicant must attach photocopies of documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
- There is no requirement of any fee for the application.
- After the applicant receives the disability certificate issued by the competent authority, the applicant is eligible for unemployment allowance.

Physical disability, Locomotor disability, Leprosy cured person, Cerebral palsy, Dwarfism, Muscular dystrophy, Acid attack victims, Visual impairment, Speech and language disability, Intellectual disability, Mental behavior, Chronic neurological conditions, Blood disorder and Multiple Disabilities person can apply.
