Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To register as a Tourist Operator, applicant has to visit the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation Limited.

3. Applicant has to visit the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation Limited and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the Respective Officer in Jharkhand Tourism Development office address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. JTDC authorities will inspect the facilities that are related to the touring company and if they are satisfied with the standards followed the authorities will provide a franchise permission.
9. The applicant will be later requested to collect the Tour Operator License on a specified date.

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a registered company or Partnership Firm
• The applicant must maintain office area clean and neat, and maintain all necessary equipment with internet connection.
• Office should be registered under Shops and Establishment Act.
• The applicant should have a Permanent Account Number (PAN) and should have Service Tax Number.
• The applicant should have a Bank Account Holder.

Fees

The applicant have to pay security deposit Rs.10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) through online system.

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.

Instructions

• The approved applicant would have option to book JTDC hotels and JTDC package tours through online, on provide user credentials.
• The approved applicant will pay all the amounts in online. If the booking amount will be exceed from Rs.10000.00 the agent shall applicable to get 10% commission.
• The sales agent authorized by JTDC will be allowed commission @10% advance in case of providing booking for more than Rs.1,00,000.00 (One lakh) during one financial year the JTDC may contemplate to allow further extra incentive / commission also to its booking agents.
• All cancellation and postponement should be done through online and charges are as per the JTDC policy.
