Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for either Import, Export, or Re-export of Animal Species, you should go to the National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA). Please view NEPA’s contact details via this link:Link
  2. Obtain the application form from the NEPA’s office or download the form from their website:Link or you can download the form directly via this link: Link
  3. Read and complete the application form and obtain all the required supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below and attach the documents to the application form
  4. Then visit the NEPA’s office and pay the application fee at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt
  5. Then submit the complete application to the Protection and Conservation Sub-division unit at NEPA for verification
  6. An official will receive your application and issue an acknowledgment receipt with application details
  7. Your application will be assessed for completeness by the management and Scientific Authorities and if the application is incomplete, it will be returned to you
  8. If the application is deemed complete, the application will be approved for processing of the either Import, Export, or Re-export of Animal Species, and the necessary documents will be issued to you

  • For re-export, attach copies of cancelled the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)Export Permits or Re-export Certificate issued by the appropriate CITES office in the country from which the animal was imported
