India - Online Apply New Firearm (Gun) License
- Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for New Firearm or Gun License
- Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
- Step 3 : In the home page, please select “Apply Online” section. Then you will be taken to the page where you have to click “Apply Here” option which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image.
- Step 4 : Now in this page you have to select the Category, State, District, Name of the licensing authority and Service from the drop down menu. Please select the service as “Application Form A-1 for grant of new arms license in FORM II” option from the dropdown menu.
- Step 5 : After selecting the service, you will be taken to the respective application form page. Now enter all the mandatory details in the personal details and residential details section and then click “Next” tab to move to the next page.
- Step 6 : In this page you have to select the additional details by clicking the checkbox from the “Additional Details” section. Then enter the security code in the textbox and click “Next” tab.
- Step 7 : Now you will be taken to the “License Specific Details” section where you have to select the details about your new license. Enter the security code in the textbox and then click “Finish” tab to submit your application.
- Step 8 : After successful submission of your application, your “Application Reference Number” will be displayed. Please make a note of it. If you want to print your application form then you have to upload your image and signature. To upload the image and signature, please click on the link which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image.
- Step 9 : In this page you have to upload your image and signature in the respective formats and file size as mentioned. After uploading, please click on “UPLOAD” tab which is highlighted in Red in the below image to proceed further.
- Step 10 : Now download the application form from the portal and take a printout copy. Submit the application form along with the necessary documents to the respective authority.
- Step 11 : Pay the appropriate fee amount to the authorities to process your application.
- Step 12 : After the verification process, you will be notified to collect the arms license from the respective authority.
