Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Hostel license in Himachal Pradesh, the applicant need to approach the nearest Municipal corporation in their area.
  2. Get the application form from the executive officer from the Municipality office.
  3. Fill up the application form appropriately with the required documents.
  4. Please verify that you are having all the required documents listed below in the "Required document" section of this page.
  5. You have to submit the application in the prescribed format.
  6. After submitting the application form the applicant needs to pay the applicable fees..
  7. After paying the fees the applicant will receive a transaction number .
  8. You can track status of the application using the transaction number.



Apply Online - Himachal Pradesh Obtain Hostel License or Permit Online with Images

  1. To apply for the hostel licence in Himachal Pradesh, the applicant has to approach the online application Himachal Pradesh Labour and employment
  2. Select the Licensing and Registration option available on the homepage.
  3. After selecting license and registration, click on shop and commercial establishments.
  4. You will reach a new page. In the bottom of the page click on "Shop on form 7" and download the application form
  5. Fill up the application form along with the required details.
  6. Please make sure that you are having all the required documents listed below in the "Required documents" section of this page.
  7. From the time the online process is completed, actual procedure of apply in person will be carried forward to issue the license



Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form can be obtained through the kiosk operator upon visiting the centre.
  4. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  5. The operator will process the application online.
  6. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  7. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page and collect the receipt.
  8. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding the documents submitted along with the form.
  9. Collect the acknowledgment slip after submitting the form.
  10. Use the acknowledgment slip to get the certificate in a stipulated period of time.
