A land Valuation certificate will help in working out its fair and reasonable current market value.

Apply In-Person:

  1. To get land valuation certificate applicant shall approach Mamlatdar office in whose jurisdiction the land is situated.
  2. Link for the office contact details: link in the given page, please select the district from the list. User will be directed to the respective portal. Please select “Contact US” menu. In the resulting page please look for Mamlatdar contact details OR please select “ABOUT DISTRICT> Who’s Who” OR “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES>Municipalities” for contact details. AND link
  3. Go to the respective office. Consult with the designated authority about the applying procedure for this certificate.
  4. Applicant shall provide their land details like survey number, Land Revenue Receipt, Land documents / Land deed etc.., to the concerned authority to verify their land record register/ledger.
  5. Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  6. Complete the application form. Attach the entire required document as per our “Required Documents” section and submit it to the designated receiving authority.
  7. After receiving the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place the application will be accepted with applicable fees (if required) as appropriate.
  8. Authorities will make entries about this application in the manual record or electronically using computer.
  9. Acknowledgement receipt will be given against every form received. So, collect it and please keep it safe for future reference.
  10. Applicant will be informed of the probable date of collecting the certificate.
  11. This application will be processed internally.
  12. After processing, the certificate will be created. Once the certificate is sealed and signed, it will be dispatched or handed over directly as per the request made while applying.
Note:The valuation for a land can be obtained instantly but to get a certificate being signed by the nodal authority will take time.


Apply Online:

  1. To get the value of land online, the applicant needs to access the home page of Gujarat Revenue Department. Link
  2. From the home page, the applicant needs to click on the “Jantri” option. The link will be redirected to new Jantri Page.
  3. In the new page, the district map of Gujarat will be shown. From that, the applicant needs to select the concerned district of the land.
  4. On selecting the district, the applicant needs to provide other details such as Taluka, Village, Land type and Survey number from the drop-down menu to get rate land value.
  5. By clicking on “Show Jantri” option, the rate of Jantri will be displayed. Jantri details include devland, flat_resi, flat_offi, flat_shop, indusind, agripiyat and agrippina.
  6. After selecting, the land values certificate will be displayed on the screens



Apply Through Centres

  1. To Apply for Land Valuation Certificate, the applicant needs to approach the nearest e-Dhara Kendra
  2. The applicant has to submit an application in the prescribed format for the Jantri certificate at e-Dhara Kendra.
  3. Submit all supporting documents (refer above) to the e-Dhara Kendra service operator. The request for Gujarat Jantri document will be forwarded online to the concerned authority, i.e., Tahsildar.
  4. The concerned authority, Tahsildar will process the land value certificate request online.
  5. After downloading all verification and Proceeding documents, the concerned authority will conduct a field-level enquiry. After enquiry, Tahsildar will take action for issuing Jantri document.
  6. Gujarat land value application status will be updated through SMS. The applicant can also track application status from e-Dhara Kendra.
