Goa - Online Notice to Modify or Alter a Motor Vehicle


Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents to modify or alter a motor vehicle
Step 2 : To apply for modifying or altering motor vehicle online, the applicant has to visit the following link: Apply Online
Step 3 : On the Home page enter your vehicle registration number and click “Proceed” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the below image to avail “Alteration of Vehicle” service.

Step 4 : Or else click on “Registering Authority” link which is highlighted in “GREEN” and then you can select your state and respective district in the drop down options of the same page and click on “Proceed” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the below image to avail service.

Step 5 : Now in the opened page click on the “alter vehicle” icon to proceed with the procedure.
Step 6 : In an opened page enter your chassis number and your registered mobile number.
Step 7 : Now click on generate OTP. OTP will be generated and sent to mobile number provided by applicant, also pop up message will be shown.
Step 8 : Enter the received OTP. Click on the show details button to proceed further.
Step 9 : Verify the Vehicle details, owner details, and insurance details.
Step 10 : Now click on payment button to proceed the online payment through payment gateway. You can find the payment details in ‘’Fees” section of this page.
Step 11 : Make payment button will allow you to select payment gateway. Select “SBIePAY” payment gateway for the e-payment.
Step 12 : Now, Accept terms and conditions by selecting the checkbox and then click on “Continue” button.
Step 13 : Select your bank and then click on “proceed” button. Select “Pay Now” option. Select “Successful” option.
Step 14 : If bank status is success then transactions get approved and fee receipt will be generated. Application letter generated, now applicant can take the Print as required.
Step 15 : Trace the application form and you can also view you application status whenever required. Do keep checking for notifications regarding your application.
