Apply In-Person:

  1. To get the driver’s license, you must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts
  2. The driver’s license application form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office or else you can download it from the website. Application Form
  3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then you should it to the CSO – Customer Service Officer.
  5. The CSO will update your application details in the system.
  6. After that, you have to pay the application fee which is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
  7. After verifying the application form, the applicant will be provided with the Fiji Driver’s license.
  8. The processing time will be intimated by the authorities in the Fiji LTA office.
  9. With the fee receipt, the Driving license card must be printed in the Printing office.

To obtain the Driving License, the applicant must have,

  • Driving Test Passed (For all Classes).
  • Level 1 DDC Passed (Only If application is for Full license for class 1, 2 or 8).
  • Level 2 DDC Passed (Only If application is for classes 3, 4 or 5 licenses).
  • Provisional License Expired (Only if application is for Full license for class 1, 2 or 8).

ValidityEdit

The driving license is valid for a period of twelve (12) months or three (3) years or Six (6) years from the date of issue at the option of the holder.
