Apply In-Person:

  1. To obtain a Joint ID Card, applicants will need to go to a FNPF or a FRCA office. FNPF Contacts , FRCA Contacts
  2. The application form must be obtained from the FNPF/FRCA office, or else you can download it from the website. Application Form
  3. Individuals who have a TIN and are also members of the FNPF, can register at any FRCA/FNPF office in Fiji.
  4. Individuals registering for a TIN for the first time will be required to register at any FRCA office in Fiji for a Joint ID Card.
  5. Individuals that are not members of FNPF but have a TIN can register for a Joint ID card at FRCA office in Fiji.
  6. The applicant must fill the application form with all the necessary details.
  7. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  8. The application form must be submitted along the necessary documents.
  9. After verifying the application, the applicant will be issued with the Joint ID card by the officials in the FNPF/FRCA office.
  10. There is no fee for this procedure.
  11. The processing time will be intimated by the authorities in the FNPF or a FRCA office.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Completed Joint ID card Request Form.
  • Full extract of your Birth Certificate (post-2000), which has the numerical birth registration Number.
  • Marriage certificate only if you are using your married name in any of the institutions.
  • Photo ID (The photo must be easily recognizable as a true likeness of yourself.
    • Electronic Voter Registration Card
    • FNPF Card with photo
    • Driving License
    • Passport
    • Employee ID


Note: Copy of your Birth or Marriage Certificate MUST be certified by a lawyer, Justice of Peace or a Commissioner for Oaths or Registrar General.

Note: Foreign investors, non-resident individuals and registered business taxpayers will still be issued with TIN Letters.
