Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Renewal of a Work Residence Permit in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Social Solidarity link
2. Applicants must obtain the application form from the appropriate department to Renewal of a Work Residence Permit.
3. Applicants should read the application form carefully as all the details must be filled in correctly for the form to be considered.
4. The applicant must ensure that the applicant has all the necessary documents needed for a successful process, which can be found in the "Required Documents" section of this page.

Apply Online:

1. Applicants should go to the Egyptian e-Visa portal of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Egypt to access information on the services and programs offered by the ministry link
2. On the homepage, applicants can click on the “Login” link on the top right of the page.
3. Applicants must enter their username and password to log in.
4. Now applicants will be logged in and can access the services available on the e-visa portal.
5. If the applicant does not have an account, they will need to create a new account on the Egypt e-visa portal.
6. This can be done by clicking on the 'Create an Account' link and following the instructions provided.
7. Once the applicant has created an account, they will be able to log in with their username and password.
8. Once logged in, click on the “Services” tab on the top menu bar.
9. Then the applicants should select the type of work residence permit they need to renew and then click 'Submit' to proceed.
10. To apply for a renewal of a Work Residence Permit in Egypt, the applicant must first complete an online application form. The applicant will be issued a form link from the Egypt e-visa portal via email.
11. The applicant should enter the details of their current work residence permit, including their name, company name, and date of issuance.
12. The applicant should upload all necessary documents, such as a copy of passport, work residence permit, current visa, and employment contract and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
13. Before submitting their renewal application, please review all the information that the applicant has provided to ensure its accuracy.
14. Once the applicant has completed the application form, they must submit the necessary documents and pay any applicable fees using one of the payment methods accepted by the Ministry of Social Solidarity to proceed.

Eligibility

Instructions

• Gather required documents.
